At 1211 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Terra Alta, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Heavy rain of 0.50 to 1 inch in one hour.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Localized ponding of water in low lying areas and rises on
small streams.
Locations impacted include...
Mountain Lake Park, Oakland, Bittinger, Grantsville, Loch Lynn
Heights, Deer Park, Accident, Luke, Merrill, Redhouse, Hutton,
Jennings, Keysers Ridge, Crellin, Deep Creek Lake State Park, Swallow
Falls State Park, McHenry, Big Run State Park, New Germany, and
McComas Beach.
This includes Interstate 68 in Maryland between mile markers 14 and
21.
