The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
The Havasu Creek basin in...
Coconino County in north central Arizona...This includes the
Colorado River between river miles 156 and 158

* Until 1100 PM MST Sunday.

* At 443 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain over portions of the Havasu Creek basin. Between 0.5 and
1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25
to 0.75 inches are possible in the warned area. Runoff from these
storms will eventually flow into Havasu Creek and may cause flash
flooding through the evening hours.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Havasu Creek basin.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
Havasu Creek basin.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Little Navajo Falls, Mooney Falls, Beaver Falls, Hualapai Hilltop,
Havasupai Reservation and Supai.

All swimming holes on Havasu Creek near Supai.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
Little Coyote Canyon, Sinyella Canyon, Heather Wash, Pasture Wash,
