At 651 PM MST /751 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain over
Cottonwood Wash had ended. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
normally dry washes, highways, roads and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Mainly rural areas of Navajo County.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 260 and 261.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
Billy Wash, Cottonwood Wash, Pueblo Colorado Wash, Fern Feather
Wash, Humpy Wash, Little Colorado River, Manila Wash and Blairs
Spring Wash.

Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become
muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become
flooded as well.
