Southeastern Lea County in southeastern New Mexico...
Andrews County in western Texas...
Gaines County in western Texas...

* Until 1045 AM MDT /1145 AM CDT/.

* At 741 AM MDT /841 AM CDT/, the public reported heavy rain and
street flooding in Hobbs. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Public reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
