Coastal waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA
out 20 NM...
Waters from Intracoastal City to Cameron LA from 20 to 60 NM...
Waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA from 20
to 60 NM...

* Until 1130 AM CDT.

* At 1026 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located over Vermilion 200, or 53 nm south of White
Lake, moving northeast at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
hail.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
