At 07:25 on May 3, 2026, the meteorological observatory of Yanbian County issued an orange rainstorm warning signal: in the past three hours, there have been heavy rains at many monitoring stations in Yumen Town, of which Yumen Gaoping Lengshuiqing has reached the magnitude of rainstorm, with a cumulative rainfall of 51.1 mm (from 04:00 to 07:00 on the 3rd day). At present, convective systems are mainly concentrated in Yumen Town, Huimin Town, Guosheng Township, Wenquan Yi Township, Gesala Yi Township, Yongxing Town, Gonghe Township, and Hongbao Miao and Yi Township. Strong convective systems are about to move into our county in the directions of Huaping and Renhe. It is expected that rainfall will continue in most areas of our county in the next 3 hours (5-10 millimeters/hour), with some areas experiencing heavy rainfall (over 20 millimeters/hour). Please pay attention to strengthening monitoring and prevention of disasters such as floods, flash floods, landslides, and mudslides in small and medium-sized rivers.
