At 18:17 on May 3, 2026, the Mengyin County Meteorological Observatory upgraded the yellow warning signal for thunderstorms and strong winds to an orange warning signal for thunderstorms and strong winds: Currently, the gusts in Mengyin Street, our county have reached level 10. Due to the influence of upstream convective cloud clusters, it is expected that there will still be thunderstorms and gusts of level 8-10 and locally above level 11 in the towns and streets under our county s jurisdiction this evening to night, and there may be small hail in some areas. The county emergency bureau and meteorological bureau jointly remind to take preventive measures.
