Accumulating snow is expected or occurring over higher elevations.

Locations: the Trans-Labrador Highway to the southeast of Happy Valley–Goose Bay.

Total snowfall: near 10 cm over higher terrain.

Time span: until late this afternoon.

Remarks: While precipitation is expected to fall mainly as rain over lower elevations, snow will accumulate steadily over elevated terrain where temperatures will remain colder.

Snow accumulations may create slippery and hazardous driving conditions. Consider adjusting travel plans to avoid the most adverse conditions.
