Strong winds that may cause damage are expected.

A strong cold front tracking through southwestern Manitoba is causing severe wind gusts in excess of 90 km/h this evening. These wind gusts are typically in the vicinity of rain showers.

The threat for severe wind gusts will ease later this evening but winds will remain gusty into Monday.

Local utility outages are possible. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible.

Secure loose objects.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
