Flood alert: Coast from Silloth to St Bees

High tides today may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 09:15 to 14:15 on Tuesday 27 October.
Locations most affected will be coastal roads and footpaths on low lying areas along the coast from Silloth to St Bees Head including Allonby, Maryport, Flimby, Workington, Parton and Whitehaven.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
