Подробнее
High river levels today may lead to flooding.
Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the river from the Welsh border at Llawnt to Shrawardine, near Shrewsbury. Other locations that may be affected include Llanymynech, Maesbrook and Melverley. Roads between Maesbrook, Melverley and Pentre start to flood. River levels remain high in this area. Cae Howel is currently peaking and steady at 3.37m. Additional rainfall is forecast overnight which may increase river levels further and cause them to exceed the flood alert threshold level in this location. Flood alert thresholds are currently not forecast to be reached in any other gauge locations within this area.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
