Flood warning: Isolated low lying properties along the tidal River Waveney

Higher than normal tides are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected from 09:00am to 3:00pm on Monday 26th October.
Locations most affected will be in St Olaves, Somerleyton, Burgh St Peter, Oulton Broad and Beccles. Roads likely to be affected include Beccles Road at St Olaves, Geldeston Lock Lane, Gillingham Dam and Fen Lane in Beccles. Levels can take several hours to peak. River levels will remain high over the next couple of days.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
