At 505 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Cannon Falls, or 16 miles west of Red Wing, moving
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and baseball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornado will be near...
Cannon Falls around 505 PM CDT.
Welch around 520 PM CDT.
Red Wing around 525 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the tornado include New Trier, Miesville
and Diamond Bluff.

away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.
