The Golmud Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for road icing at 08:20 on May 7, 2026: Due to snowfall, it is expected that from 08:20 on May 7 to 08:20 on May 8, the 109 National Highway from Fenghuoshan Pass to Bumad will experience road icing that will continue to affect traffic.
