* WHAT...Northeast winds 35 to 45 kt with gusts up to 60 kt and
seas 12 to 16 feet.
* WHERE...Yap Coastal Waters.
* WHEN...Through at least Saturday morning, or longer if
conditions warrant.
* IMPACTS...Very strong winds will cause hazardous seas which
could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tropical Storm Hagupit (05W) is currently
forecast to move through or just south of Yap Proper tonight.
Tropical storm force winds are expected this evening through
Saturday morning. As Hagupit moves west of Yap Saturday
afternoon, conditions are still expected to remain hazardous for
small craft through Saturday night.
