...The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio TX has issued
a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

South Fork San Gabriel River At Georgetown affecting Williamson
County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...South Fork San Gabriel River at Georgetown.

* WHEN...From early this morning to late this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding reaches low areas of
the floodplain and overtops pedestrian bridges of the San Gabriel
Park in Georgetown. Residents of lowest homes in the floodplain
above Georgetown to Granger Lake should monitor NOAA Weather Radio
for developing heavy rain and flood conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 10.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 3:00 AM CDT Wednesday was 10.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.9
feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
this morning.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
11.3 feet on 10/31/2015.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

dangers of flooding.
