* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 127 PM EDT, Several creeks remain out of their banks across
the warned area this afternoon, resulting in numerous flooded
roads. It will take until late this afternoon before a majority
of creeks recede back into their banks. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms can be expected later this afternoon which could
prolong the flooding in some locations.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Weston, Philippi, Glenville, Grantsville, Belington, Jackson
Mill, Jane Lew, Sand Fork, and Alum Bridge.
- This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 79 and 112. Route 33 between
mile markers 1 and 7...and between mile markers 15 and 17.
