Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm...
* Until 345 PM EDT.
* At 300 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Wrightsville
Beach, moving southeast at 25 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.
SOURCE...At 257pm, a gust to 51 kts was reported at Wilmington
International Airport.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include...
10 Mile Boxcars, Liberty Ship, Dallas Rock, Billy Murrell Reef,
Johnny Mercer Pier, Masonboro Sea Buoy, Harris Reef, 10 Mile Rocks,
Rich Inlet, 5 Mile Boxcars, North Masonboro Island, Figure Eight
Island, and Wrightsville Beach.
