At 22:19 on April 12, 2026, the Meigu County Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow warning signal for lightning: there may be lightning activity within 6 hours in townships (towns) such as Bapu Town, Hongxi Town, Xinqiao Town, Niuniuba Town, Lama Town, Houbo Naituo Town, Hougumo Town, Jueluo Township, Jingye Texi Township, Hegulou Township, Dianbu Township, Jiukou Township, Luo eigan Township, Liuhong Township, Equgu Township, Longmen Township, Saku Township, and Wahou Township, which may cause lightning disasters. Lightning activity may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, short-term gusts of strong winds, hail, and other severe convective weather. Please ask relevant departments at all levels to do a good job in lightning protection, avoid outdoor activities as much as possible, and pay attention to preventing the adverse effects that may be caused by catastrophic weather.
