* WHAT...Typhoon Warning. For Rota, tropical storm force winds of 40
to 60 kt, with gusts to 80 kt. Seas are beginning to slowly
subside and are at around 30 feet. For Tinian and Saipan, typhoon
force winds of up to 125 kt with gusts to 155 kt. Seas are building
to near 40 feet.

* WHERE...Rota, Tinian, and Saipan Coastal Waters.

* WHEN...Through at least Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be catastrophic for small craft and
large vessels. Remain in safe harbor.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tropical storm winds are occurring at Rota,
with typhoon winds currently over Tinian and Saipan. The past few
forecasts keep the strongest winds near or over Tinian and Saipan.
