A level 4 heat wave warning has been issued by MeteoSwiss from today, June 24, 2026, until Wednesday, June 30, 2026. Temperatures are expected to rise in the coming days, with highs locally exceeding 30°C. Heatwave thresholds may therefore already have been reached in several regions of the canton. The most intense phase is expected between Friday, June 26, 12:00 PM and Sunday, June 28, 20:00 PM. The warning is valid below 800 m above sea level.
