At 7:57 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location:
Grant's Creek Provincial Park
Restoule Provincial Park
15 km (17 km) southeast of Dokis

Motion: Moving quickly to the southeast at 60 km/h

Hazards:
Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h)
Hail: loonie to ping pong ball size (2.5 to 4.5 cm)
Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm)

Trout Creek
South River
Chalk River

Local utility outages are likely. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail.

Emergency Management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
