At 11:50 am on April 19, 2026, the Siping Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that the Tiedong District of our city will be affected by strong winds in the next 12 hours, with gusts of up to level 10 or above. Defense Guidelines: 1. The government and relevant departments should carry out emergency measures to prevent strong winds in accordance with their responsibilities; 2. Primary and secondary schools and units with weak wind resistance should suspend classes or operations, and reduce personnel going out; 3. Relevant water operations and passing ships should return to port to avoid wind, reinforce port facilities, and prevent ships from anchoring, stranding, and colliding; 4. Cut off the dangerous power supply, properly reinforce and place outdoor items that are susceptible to strong winds, and cover building materials; 5. Airports, railways, highways, water transportation and other units should take measures to ensure traffic safety, strictly prohibit outdoor fire use, and relevant departments and units should strengthen forest and grassland fire prevention work.
