* Until 915 AM CDT.

* At 809 AM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of
producing waterspouts was located along a line extending from 11 nm
northeast of Barataria Bay to 11 nm northwest of Grand Isle, moving
south at 40 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves.
Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
Barataria Bay, Grand Isle, and Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi
River.
