The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 1015 AM CDT.

* At 856 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 38 nm south of Gulf Shores Beach to 45 nm south of
Farewell Buoy, moving southeast at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.

* Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
