The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Northeastern Independence County in north central Arkansas...
Northeastern Jackson County in eastern Arkansas...
* Until 1245 AM CDT.
* At 1157 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located 7 miles northeast of Newark, or 13 miles east
of Batesville, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
