...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Washington...

Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County.

For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.

* WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, water inundates some properties and
overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road
inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning
to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM PDT Thursday the stage was 20.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:30 AM PDT Thursday was 20.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 21.5 feet by late
Saturday morning. It will continue rising through the weekend
into next week as warmer temperatures increase snowmelt.
- Flood stage is 20.5 feet.

This warning will be in effect until further notice.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
