...The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi TX has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas...
Guadalupe River Near Bloomington affecting Calhoun, Victoria and
Refugio Counties.
For the Guadalupe River...including Victoria, Bloomington...Minor
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Guadalupe River near Bloomington.
* WHEN...From late Sunday night until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding occurs, with the
river reaching well into the flood plain. Any oil tank batteries,
pump jacks, and secondary roads near the river may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 10.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Monday morning and continue rising to a crest of 23.6
feet early Tuesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
23.7 feet on 10/29/2015.
