Southeastern Jackson County in south central Texas...
West central Matagorda County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 315 PM CDT.

* At 245 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near La Ward, or 9
miles northwest of Palacios, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Matagorda, Bay City, Palacios, South Texas Nuclear Plant, La Ward,
Olivia, Blessing, Markham, Schicke Point, Van Vleck, Wadsworth, and
Midfield.
