The Chongyi County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow lightning warning signal at 02:16 on May 3, 2026: It is expected that scattered lightning activity will occur in some areas of all towns and villages in our county within the next 6 hours, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall and other severe convective weather. The public is advised to avoid thunderstorms when traveling, and outdoor areas should not be sheltered from trees and metal objects. Indoor areas should stay away from metal doors, windows, and live equipment.
