At 08:50 on May 5, 2026, the Lishu County Meteorological Observatory upgraded and issued an orange warning signal for strong winds [II/Severe]: It is expected that all towns and villages in our county will be affected by strong winds in the next 12 hours, with gusts of up to level 10 or above. Defense Guidelines: 1. The government and relevant departments should carry out emergency measures to prevent strong winds in accordance with their responsibilities; 2. Primary and secondary schools and units with weak wind resistance should suspend classes or operations, and reduce personnel going out; 3. Relevant water operations and passing ships should return to port to avoid wind, reinforce port facilities, and prevent ships from anchoring, stranding, and colliding; 4. Cut off the dangerous power supply, properly reinforce and place outdoor items that are susceptible to strong winds, and cover building materials; 5. Airports, railways, highways, water transportation and other units should take measures to ensure traffic safety, strictly prohibit outdoor fire use, and relevant departments and units should strengthen forest and grassland fire prevention work.

Cut off hazardous power sources, properly place outdoor items that are susceptible to strong winds, and cover building materials; 5. Airports, railways, highways, water transportation and other units should take measures to ensure traffic safety, and relevant departments and units should pay attention to fire prevention in forests, grasslands and other areas.
