When: From this morning to Thursday evening

Additional information:
The rain will start this morning and will be intermittent. Total amounts of nearly 20 millimetres are expected in Port-Menier, but areas further east of the island could receive quantities of nearly 50 millimetres.

These rainfall amounts could cause an increase in the level of the rivers on the island.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas.

Don't drive through flooded roadways.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to rainfall amounts.
