...FIRE WEATHER WATCH CONTINUES FOR FAR NORTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA
FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

.Critical fire weather conditions are possible in far northwest
North Dakota Friday afternoon and evening. Northwest winds are
forecast to increase to around 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40
mph. Relative humidity is forecast to fall as low as 20 percent
from mid afternoon through early evening. There is also a low
chance for scattered showers and perhaps a stray thunderstorm
during the late afternoon and evening, which could cause stronger
and erratic wind gusts. Any fires that ignite could spread rapidly
and become difficult to control.

* WINDS...Northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent.

* AFFECTED AREA...Divide, Williams, and McKenzie Counties.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite could spread rapidly and
become difficult to control or suppress.
