...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS LIKELY AGAIN FOR CENTRAL
NEBRASKA ON TUESDAY...
The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Red
Flag Warning for gusty north winds and low humidity, which is in
effect from Noon to 9 PM CDT this evening. The Fire Weather Watch
is no longer in effect.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 209, Loup Rivers Basin.
* TIMING...Tuesday, Noon CDT to 9 PM CDT.
* WINDS...North 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Falling to the upper teens, mainly south of
Highway 91.
* TEMPERATURES...Highs in the middle to upper 70s.
* LIGHTNING...None expected.
* IMPACTS...Any fire starts will spread rapidly and be difficult
to control.
