...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CDT THIS EVENING DUE
TO WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR KNOX, CEDAR, ANTELOPE, PIERCE,
AND WAYNE COUNTIES...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 18 to 28 mph with peak gusts up to 38 mph,
Relative Humidity as low as 19 percent.

* WHERE...Knox, Cedar, Antelope, Pierce, and Wayne counties.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.

Recommendations

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are
either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of gusty winds,
low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme
fire behavior.
