The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Nearshore and Open Waters from St Joseph to South Haven MI...

* Until 100 AM EDT.

* At 1210 AM EDT, a front was located along a line extending from 22
nm east of Saugatuck Pier Heads to South Haven Light to 24 nm
northwest of St. Joseph Light, moving south at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
South Haven Light, St. Joseph Light, and St. Joseph.

Recommendations

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
