...HIGH SURF ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CHST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 8 to 10 feet.

* WHERE...West facing reefs of Pohnpei.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM ChST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A west to southwest swell, generated by a
westerly surge south of Typhoon Sinlaku, will continue to bring
hazardous surf to west facing reefs through tonight.

Recommendations

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
