Hazardous winter conditions are possible.

A potent low pressure system will impact parts of southern Baffin Island on Monday.

Hazard: Moderate snow combined with winds gusting between 80 to 100 km/h will lead to blizzard conditions.

Timing: beginning Monday morning and ending Tuesday.

Remarks: This system will continue to be monitored as it develops and tracks towards Baffin Island. Warnings will be issued closer to the event as confidence increases in the track and impacts of the system.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times.

Consider rescheduling travel and outdoor activities.
