...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois
and Indiana...
Wabash River at Hutsonville and Riverton.
.The last of lowland flooding continues along a short portion of the
Wabash River in western Indiana, affecting the Hutsonville and
Riverton areas. Flooding is expected to end there on Monday. The
crest as of early Sunday afternoon was just downstream of Mount
Carmel.
The river level is expected to continue falling through at least
Monday night. Rain later in the week may bring new rises to central
and southern Indiana waterways.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Seep water occurs behind levees on Indiana
side. Hutson Creek begins to overflow from backwater. Old Darwin
Road and a few rural roads in eastern Clark and Crawford counties
in Illinois are impassable. Low agricultural land floods.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tomorrow morning and continue falling and remain below
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Recommendations
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
