Blizzard conditions with poor visibility in snow and blowing snow are expected.

A potent low pressure system will impact parts of southern Baffin Island on Monday and Melville Peninsula.

Hazard: Blizzard conditions due to moderate snow combined with winds gusting between 80 to 100 km/h.

Timing: Beginning Monday morning and ending early Tuesday morning for southern Baffin Island and ending Tuesday afternoon/evening over Melville Peninsula.

Travel will be hazardous due to near-zero visibility.

Limit travel and outdoor activities, if possible. Protect yourself from wind, cold and disorientation by staying sheltered, indoors or with your vehicle.
