Details

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Guam.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM ChST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent. Rises in small streams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 431 PM ChST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain moving
across the island. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Up to 0.5 inch of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding. If showers continue to train over the island, a
Flash Flood Warning may be needed.

Recommendations

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
