...The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Wisconsin...

Yellow River at Babcock affecting Wood County.

For the Yellow River...including Pittsville, Babcock...Minor flooding
is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Yellow River at Babcock.

* WHEN...From Tuesday evening to Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Widespread flooding is occurring in wooded
lowland and agricultural areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 9.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest of 13.2 feet Wednesday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.2
feet on 05/18/1992.

Recommendations

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
