.Rainfall from last night has increased the forecast flooding along
the Yellow River at Necedah from minor to major in Juneau County.
* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of
record.
* WHERE...Yellow River at Necedah.
* WHEN...From Wednesday evening to early Monday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 12.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest of 18.7 feet early Friday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
18.4 feet on 09/25/2016.
