Details

* WHAT...Snow expected. There is a likelihood of moderate winter
weather impacts. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches for
Lookout Pass and the higher terrain. Total snow accumulations of
up to 2 inches in lower elevation valley areas.

* WHERE...Highway 200 Thompson Falls to Plains, Highway 200 Trout
Creek to Heron, I-90 Lookout Pass to Haugan, and Evaro Hill.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM MDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...For MODERATE winter weather impacts, expect disruptions
to normal activities. Hazardous traveling conditions. Use extra
caution while driving. Closures and disruptions to infrastructure
may occur. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
morning and evening commutes, especially over higher passes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Valley locations will see rain changeover to
snow Wednesday evening into Thursday morning as the cold front
arrives. Roadways will become slushy Wednesday afternoon as
temperatures warm near freezing at Lookout Pass on Interstate 90.
