Details

* WHAT...Snow expected. There is a likelihood of moderate winter
weather impacts. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches from
Essex to Marias Pass and 12 to 20 inches above 6,000 feet. Total
snow accumulations of 1 to 5 inches in valley locations.

* WHERE...Polebridge, Essex, Glacier National Park, Marias Pass,
Highway 83 Bigfork to Swan Lake, and Bad Rock Canyon.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM MDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...For MODERATE winter weather impacts, expect disruptions
to normal activities. Hazardous traveling conditions. Use extra
caution while driving. Closures and disruptions to infrastructure
may occur. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
morning and evening commutes, especially over higher passes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Valley locations will see rain changeover to
snow Wednesday evening into Thursday morning as the cold front
arrives. Roadways will become slushy Wednesday afternoon as
temperatures warm near freezing at Marias Pass on Highway 2.
