...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Michigan...Wisconsin...

Menominee River near McAllister affecting Menominee and Marinette
Counties.

For the Menominee River...including McAllister...Major flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Menominee River near McAllister.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, This stage compares to the record flow of
24800 cubic feet per second at White Rapids Dam. Flood waters are
covering River Drive and Shore Drive west of Wallace in Menominee
County Michigan and South Park Road east of Porterfield in
Marinette County.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 18.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 12:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 18.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.5 feet
Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.0
feet on 05/09/1960.

Recommendations

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
