...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...
Wisconsin River at Castle Rock Dam affecting Juneau and Adams
Counties.
Wisconsin River at Muscoda affecting Grant, Richland and Iowa
Counties.
.Between 6 and 8 inches of rain has fallen along the Wisconsin River
this month. This has resulted in major flooding in central
Wisconsin, and will cause minor flooding at Muscoda.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wisconsin River at Muscoda.
* WHEN...From late Friday night to Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, There is extensive lowland flooding.
However no flooding has been reported in Muscoda in previous years.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 7.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Saturday morning to a crest of 9.9 feet Sunday evening.
It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
9.9 feet on 03/29/1935.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
