...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...
Wolf River near Shiocton affecting Waupaca, Shawano and Outagamie
Counties.
For the Lower Wolf River...including Shiocton, New London, Lake
Poygan...Major flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
forecast. This preliminarily is the flood of record.
* WHERE...Wolf River near Shiocton.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flood waters may be covering lower portions
of the Highway 54 bridge. Many streets in Shiocton are covered with
up to foot of water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 7:30 PM CDT Thursday was 14.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.1 feet
tomorrow evening, remain steady through the weekend, before
slowly receding next week.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.1
feet on 04/01/1922.

Recommendations
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
