At 13:07 on April 17, 2026, the Bole Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that from today afternoon to tomorrow day, there will be gusts of around 8 levels in the mountainous areas and shallow mountain belts in the north and south of Bole City, as well as in the mountainous areas around Sailimu Lake and the lower edge of the wind outlet. Relevant units and personnel are required to prepare for prevention.

Recommendations

1. The government and relevant departments shall do a good job in preventing strong winds according to their responsibilities; 2. Close doors and windows, reinforce structures such as enclosures, sheds, and billboards that are easily moved by the wind, properly place outdoor items that are susceptible to strong winds, and cover building materials; 3. Pedestrians should avoid riding bicycles as much as possible and avoid lingering under billboards, temporary structures, etc. when it is windy; 4. Relevant departments and units should pay attention to fire prevention in forests, grasslands, and other areas.
