Hydrological alerts are warnings issued based on the constant monitoring and analysis of hydrometeorological conditions that may generate impacts from hydrological events. Their purpose is to warn authorities and the population about the probability of occurrence of events that may compromise the safety of people and infrastructure. They are classified into three levels. Yellow alert. for information (indicates observed conditions that could generate hydrological events)

Recommendations

1. Define safe evacuation routes and sites in high areas. 2. Participate in flood evacuation drills. 3. Follow the evacuation instructions from authorities. 4. Have an emergency kit ready. 5. Return to your home when authorities indicate. 6. Check the condition of your home and electrical, gas, and water installations before returning. 7. Start cleaning and disinfecting your home.
